Grace and Peace began in 2005 when six families gathered in a living room with a shared desire to grow together in God’s Word. What started as a small home Bible study soon blossomed into a mission work of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church (OPC). In July 2006, the Presbytery of the Mid-Atlantic installed the Rev. Dr. S. Edd Cathey as Evangelist and Organizing Pastor to shepherd this growing community.
In February 2009, Pastor Cathey was called as pastor of Grace and Peace simultaneously with its founding as a particular congregation. He lovingly guided and nurtured the church until his retirement in 2021.
That same year, God graciously brought the Rev. Damon Young to serve as our pastor. Ordained and installed in June 2021, Pastor Young continues to lead our congregation with a heart for biblical teaching, warm fellowship, and faithful worship of our God.
